My Philosophy
Make everyone happy. I know that sounds a bit simple, but that truly is what my philosophy is about. In the customer service industry, that ’s what everyone is looking for. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to Lowes and had one of the most thoughtful employees walk around with me to show me new plans, gadgets for my garden, and I completely enjoyed my time. It’s what makes me go back each and every time. That’s exactly what I aim for.
Education
Well, I still am a “young’in”… 23 to be exact, but I do love learning. I’ve gone through high school, some college, but most of the things I know today were done through trial and error. I think that’s one of the best ways to educate yourself. You learn what works and what doesn’t. Now on the real estate side, I’ve learned everything I know from Joanie. ;-)
Experience
I’ve been in the customer service industry for over 8 years now. I started out at Winn-Dixie as a bag-boy and worked my way up from there. On January 24th, 2004, I ran across an ad in the News Herald and found myself working for Realty Executives. That’s where I met the Miller & Miller team (now Miller & Associates Realty). After only days, I knew this was where I wanted to be. About a year later, I started studying real estate and eventually took my real estate license exam and passed. I don’t sell, but I think that everyone involved in a real estate office should take the course and learn the laws, ethics and general knowledge of real estate practice.
Other Information and Interests
Ok, I think I’m weird, but here we go… I’m a huge “green” person. I believe in wildlife conservation, renewable energy and just living green. The reason I think I’m weird is because I was born in Long Beach, CA. Yeah, I know, right? Long Beach and LA are one of the most polluted places on the planet. But while I lived in California, I spent a lot of time visiting my grandfather and grandmother in Sacramento. They had a couple acres of land near some lakes and even had a houseboat on one of the lakes. So a lot of my childhood was spent out in the woods or on a lake fishing and boating. I believe that’s why I appreciate nature. Right now, I live on 2.2 acres of land in Southport. It’s about 20 minutes North of Lynn Haven, or 45 minutes North East of Panama City Beach. I love driving to work because I get to ride through the planted pine forests of Highway 388. My other hobbies including building websites, working on our farm (yep, we have 5 dogs, 25+ chickens, one turkey) and working on landscaping my yard. My goal in life is to save up enough money to buy 40+ acres.
