Education
My education is vast and varied. Straight out of high school I attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana as part of their Nursing program. A few years later, I moved to Denver, Colorado and attended Barnes Business College and became proficient in many business applications not limited to, but including Information Word Processing. After moving to Fort Collins, Colorado I attended Colorado State University and my focus at that time was Fiber Arts and Theatre. In the last decade, I have attended the Academy of Natural Therapy for Massage Therapy and became a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Experience
My experience is also very diverse but for the last two decades I have worked primarily with accounting software development and support, office management, message therapy and now since I have moved to Florida, with Real Estate Management. I most recently managed an office of 54 real estate agents.
Other Information and Interests
I moved to Florida in October of 2005 to be closer to my parents and I am blessed and thankful for the opportunity to spend time with them. In addition, my wonderful husband, Byron, is my best friend, companion and partner in adventure after adventure. Our dog, Roxy, who still acts like a puppy after 14 years, rounds out our family. I lived and loved for over half of my life in Colorado where nature and the environment are very important. I love hiking, camping, fishing, cycling, etc. Now that I am here in Florida, I am exploring the surrounding areas at every opportunity and tremendously enjoying the beach as well. My other interests include photography, gardening, reading, beadwork and cross stitch - though there are not enough hours in the day to do all the things that I enjoy doing.
