By joaniemiller | June 3, 2008
Among five other cities across the country, Panama City Beach real estate claimed the top spot on another list of places to buy.
Kelli Grant, a reporter for SmartMoney.com, wrote an article on AOL Money & Finance on the “Top 5 Places to Own a Summer Home.” In the article, she concludes that the reason to buy in Panama City Beach is due to not only its beautiful weather, but because with the arrival of the new Bay County International Airport, buyers will be able to own a second home and fly in for the weekend. Off Topic - Amazing Photographs
By troysteuwer | May 24, 2008
Yes, this has nothing to do with real estate, or property for that matter, but I wanted to share with you images from a photographer named Nick Brandt. I have come to admire Nick for his skill in taking pictures at some of the worlds most beautiful landscapes. As some of you may not know, one of my goals in life is to take a trip to Africa.
If you have a minute, check out the images that Nick has taken. These are some of the most captivating pictures I’ve ever seen of wildlife in Serengeti, Amboseli and Masai Mara.

Hope everyone has a safe and joyful Memorial Day.

I Can See! Coastal Vision 3000?
By troysteuwer | May 14, 2008
Good afternoon everyone!
Today, a couple of team members and I were at our local Bay County Association of REALTORS(r) membership meeting and were treated to a nice presentation called the “Coastal Vision 3000″ which is our regions new “singular vision.” Basically, it’s a new advertising campaign to bring in more visitors to northwest Florida.
The brand, called The Beach™, is designed to create a consistent, branded identity for our region. The goal is to increase national and international awareness for six counties including Bay, Okaloosa, Walton, Gulf, Escambia and Washington. You can watch The Beach™ video here. I was slightly disappointed in the video, and to me it was a bit slow. To me, Panama City Beach is about fun and enthusiasm. It could just be me, but check it out!
I love the idea, hopefully it will pull through!

Spring is busting out all over Panama City Beach! Not only with new trees and flowers, which are giving all of us allergies galore :), but with new shops and restaurants in Pier Park. Other retail stores and banks also keep poping up - almost overnight! I’m always amazed when people say were in a recession, it sure doesn’t look like it. Read the rest of this entry »

Wall Street Journal Says “The Housing Crisis Is Over”
By admin | May 8, 2008
So do you think the “housing crisis is over?” Here are a couple of quotes from the article:
By CYRIL MOULLE-BERTEAUX
May 6, 2008; Page A23 of the Wall Street Journal
“The dire headlines coming fast and furious in the financial and popular press suggest that the housing crisis is intensifying. Yet it is very likely that April 2008 will mark the bottom of the U.S. housing market. Yes, the housing market is bottoming right now.
How can this be? For starters, a bottom does not mean that prices are about to return to the heady days of 2005. That probably won’t happen for another 15 years. It just means that the trend is no longer getting worse, which is the critical factor.” Read the rest of this entry »
