People Are Really Moving Here For The Airport

I found it very astonishing that people are actually moving to Panama City and Panama City Beach for the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised — everyone knew it would happen. But, what I didn’t realize was how fast it would happen and that people would move here just for the airport and not for our beaches.
Today, I was able to go with Joanie Miller (our Broker/Owner) on a showing to a very cute house in Northshore. We were meeting a couple from Tallahassee who are preparing to retire in a year and travel the rest of their lives. The new airport is going to be their new travel companion (so to say), so they wanted to be near it.
It’s great to see that the new international airport is already paying off, and wonderful/friendly new people are moving to our area.
