Beckrich Road Renamed to Richard Jackson Boulevard

Honoring the long time City of Panama City Beach Manager, Richard Jackson, the completely redone Beckrich Road is getting a new name. Yes, Beckrich Road is being renamed to Richard Jackson Boulevard. The road, which has just completed its two-year transformation, is as beautiful as ever.
The once two-laned road now has four, accented by beautiful landscaping. The four lanes stretch all the way from Front Beach Road, near Edgewater Beach Resort, all the way to the new Home Depot shopping center off of Panama City Beach Parkway.
The honoring will be held today (actually, in just about 30 minutes) at 11:00am on April 29th, 2009. They will be having the ceremony at the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce, which is located at 309 Beckrich Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32407.
