Each year all three of our Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County Units puts on a Christmas Party for our Club Members. Our goal is to give each child in attendance a Christmas gift. It is sad to say, but some of our kids only got cookies last year so it is once again that time of year when I come to you to ask you to help us out. The next time you go Christmas shopping pick up an extra gift for a child. Stuffed animals, dolls, trucks, board games, DVD’s (for kids), hats, scarves, colorful fleece blankets for the girls, even FSU and Gator stuff goes over like hot cakes with the guys!!! Imagine that!!! Our Clubs have children from 6-18 so a variety of gifts would be wonderful. Not all the gifts have to be dollies and trucks because we do have older kids too. The next time you go through the drive through to get breakfast or lunch- pick up a gift card for a teen… there is no doubt they love to eat!!! Anything you can do to help us give the kids a wonderful party would be greatly appreciated.
Gifts can be dropped off at 451 Magnolia Avenue (Administrative Office) in Downtown Panama City- Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm or we can come to you and pick them up if you need us to. Get your office together- collect a few dollars from everyone and get a gift or instead of buying gifts for the office party have everyone bring in a gift for a child or get everyone together for lunch and go shopping for the kids. The gifts don’t have to be expensive and we don’t mind re-gifting as long as the items are new… Family Dollar, Fred’s, Dollar General… they all have great deals for low prices… it doesn’t have to cost a fortune but we can’t do it without your help!!! Thank you for anything you can do!
