Front Beach Road Redevelopment in Panama City Beach, FL

I’m sure you’ve heard the news about the Front Beach Road Redevelopment and how the Panama City Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will beautify our roads, make them more pedestrian friendly and improve our quality of life. Well, that’s fine and dandy, but what will it look like after it’s complete?
Behold…the new Front Beach Road!

I have three words for you… I. CAN’T. WAIT!
The CRA is working on more than just Front Beach Road. They are also working on a number of roads which connect Panama City Beach Parkway (a.k.a. Back Beach Road or Hwy 98, whichever you prefer) to Front Beach Road. Some of the roads include Alf Colman Road, Hills Road, Churchwell Road and Beckrich Road.
They have also put a video of what life will be like after all projects are complete. You can follow the “Smith Family” as they head out for a day in Panama City Beach by viewing the move below.
You can check the construction updates by visiting the CRA website. At the moment, they are currently working on Churchwell Road and Beckrich Road. Very interesting stuff if you ask me!
